A version of the bohemian look started at around 19th century and was worn by females called “grisettes” and it was around 1862 where the word “Bohemian” was used to refer to those who have “deviated from life and art’s conventional aspects”. As time went by, certain famous women began exhibiting a style that would soon become known as bohemian or ‘boho’. The style also progressed from being strictly bohemian to be a combination of styles such as gypsy and chic.
